Small miniature vessel complete. Label one base= "Miniature white slip flask (Cesnola): Fabric III cf. Myres Cat. 190." Almost vertical trefoil rim w/ tip broken; neck tapered twd mouth; small oval handle shoulder to neck; almost spherical body; round bottom. Dec. possibly all-over white slip; remaining dec in dark grayish-brown- 3 sets of 3 lines, one in each of trefoil folds, and first set of 4 lines at rear of mouth above handle; all 4 sets extend from rim into mouth. Jug complete, but mended with a few body fragments missing. Label on base= "Red jug, geometric decoration (Cesnola) Fabric VI-b, cf. Myres cat." Additional label= "From Cyprus. Greek, Early Geometric, ca. 1000 B.C." Flaring rim, wide mouth,Rim to body strap handle w/ extension (0.0314 L) above rim, w/ a hole at rim (0.0077D). Asymmetrical biconical body shape, short wide stem. Decoration- 3 incised vertical lines on ext (possible white decoration), 4 horzntl waving lines below rim, similar pattern of 4 lines around widest part of body intermitently, on each of the conical surfaces, sets of 4 diagonal lines overlapping at upper and lower most points creating a crosshatch pattern. Label reads as above.
